Up Scholarship is offered by Uttar Pradesh Government for the different class students. Up scholarship mainly covers financial aid for students with less annual family income. The objective behind launching the UP scholarship portal is to help students complete their higher secondary and post-matric studies.
UP Scholarship Schemes List
Up Scholarship is mainly divided into three departments and departments are based on categories. The three main category wise departments are:
- Social Welfare Department – General, ST, SC
- Backward Class Welfare Department – OBC
- Minority Welfare Department – Minority
According to these departments and categories scholarship is then distributed class-wise. The four main class groups are mentioned below:
- Prematric Class – Class 9, 10
- Postmatric Inter Class – Class 11, 12
- Postmatric other than Inter – UG, PG, Diploma etc.
- Post Matric Out Side State – Students studying in other states
So the Government of Uttar Pradesh offers a total of 10 Scholarship schemes for students.
